Evidence-based physiotherapist-led exercise for women in perimenopause and menopause
Protect your bones. Build your strength. Stay active for life.
As oestrogen levels decline during perimenopause and menopause, bone density naturally decreases and muscle strength can change. Over time, this increases the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.
The good news is that the right exercise can help.
StrongHER is an evidence-based exercise program led by physiotherapists, designed to improve bone health, build strength and reduce fracture risk.
Whether you’ve been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis, recently had a DEXA scan, or simply want to be proactive, StrongHER gives you the confidence to exercise safely.
Why StrongHER?
This isn’t a gym class.
StrongHER is a structured exercise program based on the latest evidence for bone health.
Our physiotherapists prescribe and progress every exercise to help you:
- Improve or maintain bone density
- Build strength safely
- Improve balance and mobility
- Reduce falls and fracture risk
- Feel confident lifting weights
You’ll always know you’re doing the right exercises, at the right level, with expert support.
Your assessment
Before starting, you’ll have up to two individual physiotherapy appointments.
We’ll assess your movement, discuss your goals, review your DEXA scan (if available) and develop a personalised exercise program that’s right for you.
Every participant starts with a plan designed around their body, experience and confidence level.
How the program works
After your assessment, you’ll join our physiotherapist-led exercise sessions.
Choose the option that suits you:
- Fully supervised sessions at Pursue Health
- Hybrid training, combining supervised sessions with your personalised home or gym program
Our goal is simple.
Help you build the confidence and skills to keep exercising for life.
